Why Choose Guardian Well & Septic For Your Inspection?
At Guardian Well & Septic, well and septic tank inspections are our only focus. This commitment ensures you receive an honest, unbiased assessment with no conflict of interest, no upselling, and no monetary incentive for us if a system passes, fails, or requires repairs. Our goal is simple: to provide a report based solely on the facts from an experienced, licensed, certified inspector.
Expertise and Credentials: Our owner, Chad Imme, is a state-licensed and certified well and septic system inspector who has performed thousands of inspections throughout Wisconsin. We strictly follow the guidelines and requirements set forth by the Wisconsin DNR and Wisconsin DSPS. Our licenses include POWTS Inspector 122664, WI DNR Pump Installer 8680, and WOWRA Certified Existing POWTS Evaluator 20211204.
Services You Can Schedule:
We are proud to offer timely, unbiased, and detailed inspection services to homeowners, business owners, and real estate agents throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
Well Inspections: Our inspections are conducted by a licensed pump installer in compliance with state law for real estate transactions. This service includes a visual inspection, functionality testing, and identification of noncompliant features, all officially reported on DNR Inspection Form #3300-221.
Well Water Testing: We provide a comprehensive water quality test (required for all property transfers) to assess for contaminants like arsenic, nitrates, and coliform bacteria. All samples are processed by a state-certified lab, with results delivered quickly. Standalone water tests are also available.
Septic System (POWTS) Inspections: We provide detailed evaluations performed by a WOWRA-certified professional. We use a comprehensive, uniform checklist to ensure an accurate assessment, helping you avoid unnecessary and costly repairs or replacements.
Septic System (POWTS) Maintenance: As a licensed POWTS Maintainer, we can perform the required maintenance inspection (at least every three years by Wisconsin code SPS 383.54). This is essential for measuring accumulated solids and preventing early system failure, saving you money in the long run.
Important Note Before Your Septic Inspection:
DO NOT have your septic system pumped before the inspection. It is absolutely critical to assess the current state of the system prior to pumping. If pumping is needed, we can provide a septic pumping service, or we can coordinate with a pumper of your choosing. The entire inspection process typically takes anywhere from 1–2 hours to ensure accurate and detailed reporting. While you are not required to be present, we encourage you to attend.
